Workplace Investigations/Inquiries are a reactive response, typically initiated after an Organization receives a complaint of misconduct. Workplace Inquiries can be mandated by workplace policies, within the terms of a Professional Association, or directed by legislation. C2C Consulting will conduct an inquiry utilizing a defined process to ensure the fact-finding quest follows the spirit of natural justice; a duty placed on the Investigator to act fairly throughout the probe. The information obtained through the process will be presented to the client in a written report, with recommendations if requested.
Marlene Hope, a C2C Consultant, has an extensive background in conducting investigations. She served 26-years in the Calgary Police Service, including as a Detective in the Sex Crimes Unit and within the Human Resource Section, Office of Inclusion, Development and Employee Engagement. These roles have uniquely positioned her as a workplace investigator, specializing in allegations of sexual harassment, sexual assault, harassment, and bullying. She also possesses a keen understanding of the dynamics involved in workplace complaints.
Given the sensitive nature of workplace investigations and the impact they can have on all parties; C2C Consulting utilizes the Forensic Experiential Trauma Interview (FETI)© method. FETI is a neuroscience supported methodology that elicits more information than traditional techniques, helping to mitigate secondary victimization to the parties, and aids the investigator in ensuring neutrality throughout the process. C2C Consulting ensures that all investigation meet the necessary threshold required by law. Read more on the Workplace Investigation Workshops, and Training offered by C2C Consulting.
